About
Jesse Parker Hart was born and raised in Denver and spent their college years in Vancouver, British Columbia where they graduated from UBC and received the Award of Distinction at InFocus Film School.
Now working in Los Angeles as a photographer, editor and producer, Jesse values the collaboration process between a strong team that brings a kaleidoscope of perspectives into a project. They have worked on content ranging from music videos, an indie documentary about trans pregnancy, to archive producing for the award-winning Netflix documentary series “Escaping Twin Flames”.
Their first short documentary, “Lost Years: How Canada Exploits the Lives of Migrant Workers,” follows the experiences of exploitation faced by migrant farm workers in Canada, working intimately with those directly impacted. On “Escaping Twin Flames,” they were involved in pivotal creative conversations about the portrayal of the appropriation of the LGBTQIA+ community by the cult “Twin Flame Universe”. In 2021, Jesse crafted a narrative short film titled “Still Breathing,” depicting Rhidale Dotson’s journey confronting COVID-19 while incarcerated, showcased within an immersive art event.
They feel passionately about fostering solidarity with movements rooted in liberation and justice, as a transmasculine person.
