Lost years: How Canada Extracts the Lives of Migrant Farm Workers
Produced by Fuerza Migrante, "Lost years: How Canada Extracts the Lives of Migrant Farm Workers" is a critical look into Canada's Temporary Foreign Workers program. Sharing real stories of temporary migrant workers from Mexico gathered from 2017 to 2020, and complemented by interviews with a Geography professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), this documentary highlights how workers experience the exploitative conditions of the Canadian food system.
